At Canyon Hill Farms, we are excited to announce the completion of a new, additional shelter in the lower pasture. This much-needed addition addresses a key priority for both our horses and their owners, reflecting our ongoing commitment to enhancing the facilities and experiences at our stables.
Lower pasture horses naturally gravitate toward the area closest to the barn for sleeping and relaxing, making it the ideal location for this new structure. With the shelter now in place, our horses have a comfortable, protected space to rest and take refuge from the elements, whether it’s during hot summer days or unexpected rainfall.
This shelter is designed with both horses and boarders in mind. Its convenient placement near the pasture’s access point encourages horses to congregate in the area, making it easier for boarders to interact with their horses. In the coming months, we plan to expand this space further by expanding the station just outside the pasture. This addition will provide a convenient area for grooming, tacking, and other horse care activities, streamlining the experience for boarders.
While the shelter itself is nearly identical to our existing pasture shelters, it represents more than just a new structure. It’s a testament to our ongoing efforts to continually improve the facilities at Canyon Hill Farms. We actively listen to feedback from our boarders, who can share their suggestions via our locked drop box. In fact, this project was not only on our to-do list but also a response to requests from our boarders. Their input is invaluable in helping us prioritize improvements that enhance the experiences of both our equine residents and their owners.
At Canyon Hill Farms, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, high-quality environment for horses and their owners. The addition of this new shelter is just one of the many ways we strive to show our boarders that we hear them, value their concerns, and work hard to provide the best care and convenience possible. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain dedicated to finding ways to improve our stables and the experiences of everyone who calls Canyon Hill Farms home.
